How API points are charged

Points are deducted from the active monthly allowance when an API request returns billable data. News list requests are charged by date window. Detail, report, data-series, and Notes requests are charged per successful request.

  • Monthly allowance: Pro includes 1,350 points; Max includes 5,000 points.
  • Rate limits: Pro supports 3 requests/s; Max supports 10 requests/s.
  • Invalid requests: The first 40 daily error or invalid requests are free; additional invalid requests cost 1 point each.
  • News list scope: Includes market-news, chart-news, and column-article id, type, slug, URL, title, and dek.
  • Date windows: Today, a specific date, and last X days use different formulas.
  • Formula consistency: The same point formulas apply across dashboard usage, API logs, and billing summaries.
